UZBEK LEARNERS' PRONUNCIATION DIFFICULTIES IN ENGLISH: SEGMENTAL AND SUPRASEGMENTAL FACTORS

This article examines the segmental and suprasegmental pronunciation difficulties faced by Uzbek learners of English. Through a contrastive phonetic analysis, it explores challenges related to English vowels, consonants, stress, rhythm and intonation, highlighting how the phonological structure of Uzbek influences interlanguage phonetics.
