The Role of Specialized Corpora in Enhancing Foreign Language Teaching Methodology
Abstract This paper investigates the application of specialized corpora in foreign language teaching (FLT), focusing on how domain-specific language data enhances vocabulary acquisition, grammatical accuracy, and contextual fluency. Unlike general corpora, specialized corpora isolate register-specific patterns, providing language learners and instructors with targeted authentic text samples. The study highlights methodological implementations of Data-Driven Learning (DDL), demonstrates corpus-based task design, and evaluates the benefits and challenges of integrating specialized digital corpora into modern language curricula. Keywords: Specialized Corpora, Data-Driven Learning (DDL), Foreign Language Teaching (FLT), Corpus Linguistics, Pedagogy, Register Analysis.
