Integrated resistance discovery science.

We present a collection of findings that together provide a unified understanding of resistance mechanisms in cancer and non-malignant disease that are dependent on disease type (autoimmune, infectious, neurodegenerative), origin of disease (hematopoietic or epithelial), and signal transduction system being targeted. The findings include genomic and transcriptomic discovery science involving acquired resistance to endocrine therapies in settings featuring hormone receptor-based transformation, like resistance in breast cancer.
