Formal Ontology of Light, Creation, and Faith: An Attempt to Build a Closed Logic of an Open System

This work presents a formal metaphysical system that establishes a closed logic for an open system. Beginning with the impossibility of "nothingness," we derive a single Source-principle (g) and distinguish between the continuum of possibilities (P) and actual existence (E). Through a triadic structure of self-distinction (S–R–O), we formalize creation and define faith as a superposition over a class of creation conditions. Faith is mathematically modeled via a soft reduction operator R_ε(B) = (1 − ε)B + ε·δ_a0, quantifying the balance between prior knowledge and external facts. Furthermore, we demonstrate the geometric reification of these metaphysical invariants in the discrete fractal crystal model (STPC). On the 4681-node K₉ lattice, we show that the confinement of matter and the baryon saturation limit (Q = 584) arise purely from topology, without fitted parameters. Finally, we apply the soft reduction formula to machine learning, demonstrating its practical utility in defending neural networks against data poisoning by preventing dogmatic overfitting to corrupted labels. The work bridges formal ontology, quantum geometry, and artificial intelligence.Licensing: The text of this preprint is licensed under CC BY 4.0. Abstract
