Hybrid Emulsion‐Dispersion (HED) Polymerization Enables One‐Pot Synthesis of Functional Janus Nanoparticles (Small 61/2026)
Janus Nanoparticles The image illustrates the one-pot synthesis of functional Janus particles through hybrid emulsion–dispersion polymerization. Two distinct monomer components come together in a single reaction to directly form asymmetric Janus particles with chemically distinct lobes, avoiding complicated multistep synthesis. The resulting particles preferentially stratify at coating surfaces, enabling efficient and durable antimicrobial activity. More in Research Article e75226, Shan Jiang and co-workers.
