THE ELASTIC LIMIT OF THE VACUUM AND THE TOPOLOGICAL GENESIS OF MASS.
We present a derivation of the fundamental mass-energy equivalence relation, , from the first principles of nonlinear fluid dynamics. Within the framework of Phase Dynamics, the vacuum is treated not as empty spacetime but as a physical medium — a Sine-Gordon lattice with a fundamental frequency Hz. We demonstrate that the energy stored in a vacuum string at its maximum tension before topological rupture (a phase slip) is exactly equal to the rest energy of the soliton (kink) that is formed. Using the wave impedance of the medium, we derive that the mass of the soliton is equivalent to its field energy divided by the square of the speed of transverse perturbations, . This leads to the exact balance without invoking the postulates of special relativity. Furthermore, we propose a method for experimental verification through parametric resonance, defined by a discrete grid of subharmonics . All results are derived strictly from geometry and continuum mechanics, without free parameters.
