Rhythmic Habitation | From Shared Cognitive Ecology to Three Interconnected AI-Native Furniture Prototypes
This preprint traces the development of three interconnected furniture investigations for amixed-use living and creative studio. INTERVAL, an adaptive sensory luminaire, exploresparticipant-directed illumination and exposure. VERSO, a contextual reference folio, explores theselective preservation and sharing of material context. PACT, a negotiated exchange valet, explores tangible permission and bounded exchanges with embodied robotic collaborators. Theirforms are developed from relational requirements, material behavior and manual interactionbefore optional computation is introduced. The work extends Aeon Mundi research on the SituatedRelational Substrate and rhythmic habitation into preliminary physical-state and material studies. The figures and mechanisms are exploratory; no integrated prototype, cognitive effect, materialperformance or robotic safety outcome is claimed as demonstrated.
