Non-Invasive Musculoskeletal MRI Triage for Arteriogenic Erectile Dysfunction and First-in-Human Adaptive Cold Atmospheric Plasma:\\ Protocol for a Two-Study Programme
Arteriogenic erectile dysfunction (ED) is confirmed by penile duplex Doppler after intracavernosal injection (ICI) of a vasoactive agent. The procedure is invasive, carries priapism and corporal fibrosis risk, and is operator-dependent. No validated non invasive test currently triages who requires it. Separately, cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) generates controllable reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS) with dose-dependent effects on endothelial function and fibrosis, but has not been evaluated in human erectile tissue.
