Nonlinear Vacuum Medium Model: Mathematical Foundations 4.0 — Canonical Field Structure, Variational Dynamics, Topology, Stability, and Emergent Mathematical Architecture

This document presents the mathematical foundations of the Nonlinear Vacuum Medium (NVM) framework, a proposed classical nonlinear field model intended to investigate the possible emergence of familiar physical descriptions from a more fundamental continuous substrate. Mathematical Foundations v4.0 specifies the canonical field structure, action functional, variational equations, constraints, Hamiltonian and characteristic formulations, topology, localization criteria, and mathematical correspondence requirements. The canonical realization employs independent scalar-amplitude and internal-orientation fields defined on a fixed Minkowski background. Its composite antisymmetric two-form provides a candidate mathematical structure for investigating electromagnetic correspondence. The document distinguishes formal model specification from mathematical existence, dynamical stability, physical correspondence, and empirical validation. Particular attention is given to hyperbolicity, principal-symbol analysis, nondegenerate field sectors, localized nonlinear configurations, spectral stability, nonlinear persistence, and the mathematical conditions required for a physically meaningful emergent particle interpretation. Additional correspondence objectives address Maxwell-type electromagnetic dynamics, effective gravitational geometry, emergent quantum states, objective measurement outcomes, Born-rule probabilities, and nonseparable quantum correlations. The November 2026 revision integrates mathematical audit findings and further develops the requirements for Bell–CHSH correspondence, relativistic no-signaling, and the distinction between quantum correlations and controllable superluminal influences. The document maintains explicit distinctions between mathematically derived results, model-defining assumptions, required consistency conditions, and unresolved research problems. No claim is made that the complete NVM framework has been mathematically established or experimentally verified. This work accompanies the November 2026 NVM Main Manuscript v4.0 and serves as its detailed mathematical reference.
