The Narrowing and the Range: An Adversarial Framework for Perceptual Spectrum Collapse in Intelligent Systems
Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim A conceptual and methodological research preprint introducing perceptual spectrum collapse -- a formally defined vulnerability in which a system's operational distribution is narrowed by a concealed process while its observable self-description fails to acknowledge the limitation. Presents a partial mathematical correspondence with GAN mode collapse, a directional test, a detection methodology grounded in the EESS, and a task-specific coverage metric (TRRC). The structural pattern was first identified in the Qur'anic account of the adversarial strategy (7:17); the engineering formalization is independently testable. No empirical results are claimed. Cross-model review by GPT-6; seven findings dispositioned in the appendix. Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim
