Withdrawal of Endorsement of the Early Dynamic Substrate Theory (DST) Manuscripts and Conceptual Guide

Author statement 01 November 2026 This project provides a public explanation of my decision to withdraw my endorsement of the early Dynamic Substrate Theory (DST) manuscripts and Conceptual Guide as accounts of established scientific results. They contain claims of mathematical derivation, field and observational validation that are not adequately supported by the work. The documents were developed from my original conceptual ideas with substantial from an artificial intelligence system. Initially, the system appeared to follow my intended framework. As drafting progressed, however, it increasingly introduced, terminology, mathematical formulations and conclusions that I had not, while failing to follow my instructions consistently. It repeatedly presented the material as scientifically sound, mathematically established and ready for publication. My knowledge of theoretical physics and the relevant mathematics was insufficient to independently verify those assurances or identify the unsupported additions before. I relied on the system’s assessments when preparing and depositing the documents. Subsequent review identified unsupported claims and gaps in the reasoning that made those assessments unreliable. This account describes the system’s observed drafting behaviour; it does not attribute conscious intention to it. As the author, I acknowledge my responsibility for publishing and circulating the material. I am taking steps to withdraw the manuscripts or restrict access to them according to each repository’s procedures. This statement does not imply that all versions and deposits have already been removed. I retain my original substrate hypothesis as a subject for investigation, without presenting it as a validated theory. This withdrawal concerns the published formulations and does not establish the validity or invalidity of the underlying hypothesis. Any future formulation would require independent mathematical and scientific assessment before being presented as validated. This explanatory project is intended to remain publicly accessible as a record of the correction process. Flávio Fonseca de Freitas
