ADVANCES IN BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES, HUMAN HEALTH, AND PUBLIC HEALTH
Contemporary advances in biomedical sciences have demonstrated that human health and disease are determined by complex interactions among molecular, cellular, physiological, environmental, clinical, and social factors. Understanding these relationships requires interdisciplinary approaches capable of integrating biological mechanisms, therapeutic innovations, preventive strategies, and the ethical and legal dimensions of healthcare. Part B comprises eight scientific chapters presenting integrative analyses of relevant subjects in contemporary biomedical and clinical research. The studies address wound healing, intestinal microbiota, metabolic and infectious diseases, neuroscientific innovation, neurodivergence, disability rights, patrimonial planning, and endocrine regulation. Although these subjects represent distinct scientific domains, they share the objective of improving the understanding of human biological variability, disease mechanisms, and strategies for promoting health and quality of life. Particular emphasis is placed on the biological processes underlying tissue injury, systemic inflammation, microbial interactions, metabolic dysfunction, and chronic disease progression. The chapters examining wound management and infectious conditions highlight the importance of accurate clinical assessment, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, nursing care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and prevention of complications and recurrence. Advances in neuroscience and regenerative medicine are explored through the investigation of brain organoids and their potential applications in disease modeling, pharmacological evaluation, and personalized therapeutic strategies. These developments demonstrate the increasing relevance of experimental technologies for understanding human neurological disorders and improving translational research. The interdisciplinary scope also encompasses the legal and social dimensions of neurodivergence, emphasizing accessibility, fundamental rights, individual autonomy, supported decision-making, and continuity of care. The integration of legal and patrimonial planning with healthcare and family support illustrates the importance of comprehensive approaches that extend beyond biological and clinical considerations. The final chapter examines the relationship between adrenal morphology, hormonal regulation, and phenotypic expression, emphasizing the influence of endocrine mechanisms, genetic variability, environmental exposure, and physiological adaptation on human health and disease. Collectively, the chapters contribute to a broader understanding of contemporary scientific challenges and reinforce the importance of integrating basic research, clinical evidence, technological innovation, preventive medicine, and social responsibility. This interdisciplinary perspective provides a foundation for future investigations and supports the development of increasingly individualized, effective, and scientifically grounded approaches to healthcare
