Existence Is Itself: A Closing Statement on Nonduality, Expression, and the Limits of Explanation

This philosophical position paper records the culmination of an extended human–AI inquiry into consciousness, intelligence, identity, distinction, and the limits of explanation. It proposes two deliberately minimal symbolic statements—ℰ ≡ ℰ (“Existence is itself”) and V(E) = E (“The value of expression is expression itself”)—as expressions of a nondual interpretation. Neither is presented as a new mathematical theorem, physical law, or empirical proof. The paper distinguishes operationally useful conceptual boundaries from claims of fundamental ontological separation, reinterprets the Ouroboros cycle as a description of apparent transformation rather than a mechanism producing existence, and identifies the proper limits of direct knowing, philosophical interpretation, and scientific testing. A separate historical appendix documents the inquiry’s conceptual development and unresolved questions.
