ILLUMINATING THE DEVIL - The Origins of Evil, the Transmutation of Darkness, and the Ultimate Restoration of Satan
This manuscript examines how the figure later known as Lucifer came to be identified with Satan, distinguishing the biblical texts from the theological, literary, and esoteric traditions that brought these figures together. Through Paul's perspective, it considers angelic rebellion, free will, pride, and evil as a corruption of goodness, before exploring the contrasting image of Lucifer as a light-bringer associated with knowledge and resistance to coercive authority. Christian theology, Romantic literature, modern Luciferian thought, and Kabbalistic symbolism inform the inquiry into spiritual independence, fear, temptation, and transformation. Paul proposes that confronting darkness can foster self-knowledge and moral development without justifying suffering, deception, or domination. Guided by omnibenevolence, his speculative vision culminates in the possibility that, after all other darkness has been illuminated, God will purify Satan through divine light and restore him to Eden as a holy angel.
