DETERMINING THE RATIONAL MAINTENANCE INTERVAL FOR AN EXCAVATOR FLEET BASED ON MONITORING DATA AND ITS ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY

The article presents a method for determining maintenance intervals for an excavator fleet and individual excavators based on factory-installed onboard monitoring indicators, along with an assessment of its economic and energy efficiency. The baseline maintenance interval is set at 300 operating hours based on the minimum cost and is adjusted for each machine according to its condition index range and load factor. Experimental data collected over 24 months from 18 excavators show that the annual economic benefit per excavator amounts to UZS 60.0 million, the payback period for implementation costs does not exceed 3.6 months, annual fuel savings reach 2,460 liters, and the calculated reduction in direct CO₂ emissions amounts to 6.64 tonnes per year.
