On the Non-Deterministic Nature of Human Decision-Making: Integrating Schrodinger's Hidden Variables with Orch-OR and Rapid Affective Bayesian Alternation
This paper introduces an advanced interdisciplinary framework modeling human sovereign decision-making as a non-deterministic process immune to external discrete AI predictive scoring architectures. We synthesize Erwin Schrodinger’s long-lost 1944 manuscript on hidden variables with the Penrose-Hameroff Orchestrated Objective Reduction (Orch-OR) model of quantum biology. Crucially, we ground this framework in recent empirical findings (Hesse et al., bioRxiv, October 2026) demonstrating a rapid 15 Hz alternation between conscious and suppressed micro-epochs in the primate brain. We formalize this temporal oscillation as a non-linear Bayesian belief updating engine, where the hidden parameter acts as an affective quantum variable protected by structural biological niches against environmental decoherence.
