Cell death in context: From mechanisms to interventions.
When, how, and why cells die, and what happens when they survive, have profound consequences for development, immunity, and disease. To coincide with the Cell Press Symposium "Taking programmed cell death from mechanisms to interventions," we bring together perspectives from researchers across career stages and areas of cell death research. From emerging mechanisms and consequences of cell death to opportunities for therapeutic intervention, these voices highlight a rapidly evolving field and the questions that will shape its future.
