Findings - The research results indicate that workload has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (calculated t-value of 4.799), and compensation suitability also has a positive and significant effect (calculated t-value of 7.645); furthermore, both variables simultaneously exert a significant influence, with a calculated F-value of 339.646 and a coefficient of determination of 87.5 percent. These findings suggest that the job satisfaction of Generation Z employees is heavily influenced by the balance between proportionate work demands and compensation perceived as fair. The study recommends that companies design balanced workload distribution policies and transparent compensation systems to enhance job satisfaction and sustainably retain young talent.
