Part III: The Architecture of Meaning: Detailed Deck
Detailed deck for Part III: The Architecture of Meaning of How to Design an Emotion (Universal Moral Concepts II) by Cézjah (New Intellectual LLC). Abstract. Meaning is not a property hiding inside ink, sound, or circuitry. A mind achieves it, and like every achievement, it can fail. This deck separates automatic attribution from interpretation, a conscious act under a goal the interpreter adopts, and introduces the Constructivist Semiotic Sign: five constituents that must never merge, the Identifier, the Concept, the Construct, the Referent, and the Interpreter. The architecture is tested in UML and C#, then used to audit the two great traditions of the sign, Saussure and Peirce.
