Inclusive Organizational Culture as a Strategic Driver of Corporate Culture in Multinational Corporations in Vietnam: A Delphi - AHP Approach
Corporate culture plays a crucial role in shaping employee behavior, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and sustaining competitive advantage, particularly in the context of multinational corporations operating in developing economies. This study aims to identify and evaluate the extent of influence of factors affecting corporate culture in multinational corporations in Vietnam. Four main factors are examined, including: Leadership, Inclusive Organizational Culture, Fair Treatment, and Organizational Mission. The study employs the Delphi method to develop and refine measurement scales through expert opinions, followed by the application of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the relative importance of these factors. The Delphi results indicate a high level of consensus among the observed variables; meanwhile, one variable that did not meet the requirements was removed, and a new variable reflecting an open workspace that fosters inclusion was added to the Fair Treatment group. The AHP results reveal that Organizational Mission has the greatest influence on corporate culture, followed by Fair Treatment, Inclusive Organizational Culture, and Leadership. These findings contribute to clarifying the role of managerial factors in shaping corporate culture in multinational corporations in Vietnam, while also providing a reference basis for managers in developing appropriate and effective organizational environments.
