Historical profile features and visible manuscript figures: assessability and discrimination
A historical statement about a body and a visible mark in a drawing are different kinds of evidence. This study compares the twenty-eight numbered profiles in Cgm 7958 with 303 physical human figures in twelve Voynich panels, keeping source clauses, graphic observations and historical interpretation separate. Source review certifies 77 localized predicates in 26 profiles; 43 secondary morphology predicates remain descriptive, and three exact predicates are excluded. The complete 8,484-pair matrix yields 46 partial compatibilities involving twelve people and ten profiles, each supported by one graphic feature. There are 7,832 unassessable pairs, 606 source-ineligible pairs, no complete projected-profile compatibilities and no established incompatibilities. All added-mark identities remain unknown. Exact source requirements, visibility, anatomical side, count semantics and shared image support are preserved in the portable evidence package. Source corrections, larger-capture reinspection and exposed software and anatomical-language repairs preceded the final calculation and are reported with their actual timing. Independent computation reproduces every feature state and pair outcome. The result identifies where a comparison is supported and where the source or image cannot decide it; it supplies neither a validated historical profile assignment nor an ingredient route. The shared release archive contains the companion manuscripts, reader guides, source matrices, figures and reproducible evidence. Scientific qualifications remain attached to their respective tests.
