The Tree of Life - The Worlds Oxygenator

This paper challenges the popular assumption that a fixed number of trees can provide the oxygen required by one human. By exploring human oxygen consumption alongside tree growth, carbon sequestration, forest ecosystems, and the global oxygen cycle, it demonstrates why no universal tree-per-person relationship exists. Following the parallel life cycles of humans and trees, the research brings together environmental science and human physiology to examine a relationship that is far more complex, interconnected, and fascinating than commonly understood.

Abstract

This paper challenges the popular assumption that a fixed number of trees can provide the oxygen required by one human. By exploring human oxygen consumption alongside tree growth, carbon sequestration, forest ecosystems, and the global oxygen cycle, it demonstrates why no universal tree-per-person relationship exists. Following the parallel life cycles of humans and trees, the research brings together environmental science and human physiology to examine a relationship that is far more complex, interconnected, and fascinating than commonly understood.
