The Seam Identity, Attacked: A Counting Bound, an Equivalence, and a Verdict of Not Derived

The Paper Map's V1 derivations ring carries a cell that has stood open since the census: Axiom H, derived — the move that would promote the Aldred Identification from an adopted axiom to a theorem. The exam the cell must pass was written in advance, in GAP7, and sharpened in GAP9: a derivation must produce the horizon count either with a per-object degeneracy computed from the frame's dynamics, or with a genuinely collective count whose growth is not logarithmic in its objects' charges; its horizon side must be the Wald functional; and its normalisation may not pass through s = A/(4 l_P^2) as an assumption. This paper sits that exam with two new instruments the campaign record does not contain. The first is a counting bound: for any state-counting scheme built from objects on the horizon — the frame's creation endpoints included — the logarithm of the total count cannot exceed the sum of the objects' individual log-degeneracies, because correlated and collective states live inside the objects' joint state space and do not enlarge it. Run on the record's own numbers, the bound reproduces Wave 7's endpoint-map shortfalls exactly (36.58 dex at μ = 1; 33.72 dex at the most generous recorded setting) and closes GAP7's collective branch for every local horizon content: the identity demands q_post = 5.276535 × 10^36 nats per cell, and q_post is, to the record's precision, exactly the Wald count of one cell's own area — states of cells cannot pay an area's count; only the area postulate pays it, and the area postulate is the axiom. The second instrument is an audit of the one road the bound does not close: continuum field fluctuations, whose count diverges and whose finite part is fixed without hand-insertion in exactly one known setting — a theory whose gravity is wholly induced by its own matter. There, a published theorem (cited here as literature, not recomputed) makes the entanglement divergence equal to the Wald entropy of the induced action, with the coefficient 1/4 exact. Audited against that theorem, the Aldred frame as constituted carries an induced fraction of zero: its Newton constant is a primitive of the frame, not an output of its matter content. The seam identity is therefore equivalent, in the only direction the record supports, to a completion the frame does not contain. Verdict: NOT DERIVED. The cell stays open. Its re-opening conditions are narrower than they were, and they are printed in §6.
