Beauty of Magic Squares: 6,720 - Multiple Order Bordered Striped Magic Squares of Order 108

This work presents 6,720 striped magic squares of order 108 (magic sum 629,910), constructed by the multiple order bordered method, in which every layer is itself made of smaller striped magic squares built from width-2 magic rectangles. Order 108 is reached by two different routes. In Route A, the 240 striped magic squares of order 84 (84=7*12) receive a second ring of 32 striped magic squares of order 12; eight border variants give 240*8=1920 squares in eight types. In Route B, the 480 striped magic squares of order 72 (72=4*18), obtained through orders 24 and 48, are surrounded by a ring of 20 striped magic squares of order 18; ten border variants give 480*10=4800 squares in ten types. Together the two routes give 1920+4800=6,720 striped magic squares of order 108. Excel files of the work are attacahed.
