Poetics of Resistance: A Wolfean Reading of Noor Hindi’s Poem "Fuck Your Lecture on Craft, My People Are Dying"

Discussing what is going on in Palestine is extremely important owing to its unfathomable association with global justice, international human rights, the geopolitical prominence of the Middle East, and its superior position in history and the whole religions (particularly Islam). This research seeks to critically analyze the exemplification of genocidal violence and resistance in Noor Hindi's (1995 -) famous poem "Fuck Your Lecture on Craft, My People Are Dying" (2020) through Patrick Wolfe's notions of settler colonialism and logic of elimination. Wolfe believes that genocide should be regarded not as a singular historical happening but as a permanent structure recognized by the logic of elimination, whereby settler colonial powers aim to obliterate native people physically, ethnically, and politically. The poem discards conventional poetic beliefs and emphasizes the insistence of lived anguish, hence converting poetry into an act of testimony, resistance, and political involvement. The study finds out that the poem is viewed as a counter-discourse that confronts the elimination of Palestinian experiences and retrieves poetry as a site of witnessing and shared memory. land without a people
