Penguatan Literasi Keuangan Digital melalui Pelatihan Mobile Banking bagi Mahasiswa STEBIS IGM Palembang

This community service activity aimed to strengthen digital financial literacy among students at STEBIS IGM Palembang through mobile banking training for personal financial management. Conducted on October 12–13, 2026, the program involved 122 students and employed presentations, demonstrations, guided practice, assignments, and interactive discussions. The evaluation used a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and assignment documentation, which were analyzed thematically. The findings indicated that participants gained insights into using mobile banking transaction histories to identify spending patterns, monitor expenses, and understand the importance of financial records for personal budgeting. However, several challenges emerged, including cash transactions that were not automatically recorded, limited internet connectivity, and concerns regarding the security and privacy of financial data. These findings highlight the potential of practical mobile banking training as a contextual approach to improving students' understanding of digital financial management. Nevertheless, improvements in financial competence and sustained behavioral changes cannot be conclusively established without structured measurements and long-term follow-up evaluations.
