Verbalization of successful businesswoman's image in Spanish- and Russian-language media

The purpose of the study is to conduct a comparative analysis of the methods and techniques used in media representations of the ‘female’ model of leadership as a meaning-forming component of the linguistic-axiological picture of the world. The relevance of the work is determined both by the specifics of gender-oriented discursive practices and by new vectors of reflection on female subjectivity in the context of various socio-cultural transformations in society. To achieve the objective, a comprehensive approach was used, including content analysis, lexical-semantic categorisation of linguistic constructs, their comparative description, and quantitative analysis of the data obtained. The study material comprised articles from 32 issues of Forbes Women magazine in Russian and Spanish published between 2023 and 2025 (a total of over 100 text units). The results of the analysis indicate that the image of the successful businesswoman is formed through five key thematic components: individual characteristics, professional qualities, professional achievements, financial status, and social relationships. The presence of a number of universal verbal markers in media texts attributing female identity confirms not only the correlation of value components in Russian- and Spanish-spea
