The Influence of Economic Growth, Inflation, and Unemployment Rate on the Participation Rate of Female Work Force In Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the influence of Economic Growth, Inflation, and Unemployment on the Female Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK Perempuan) in Indonesia during the period 2019–2024. The method used is Panel Data Regression, with the dependent variable being the Female Labor Force Participation Rate, and the independent variables being inflation, economic growth, and unemployment. This study refers to Gary Becker's time allocation theory and tests the feminization hypothesis related to economic development. The analysis focuses on the phenomenon of the added worker effect, where inflation encourages women to enter the labor market to maintain household consumption stability. The findings of this study are expected to form the basis for more gender-responsive employment policies in Indonesia.
