Formación docente y metodologías activas en la disciplina de Lengua y Literatura: la necesidad pedagógica de evaluarlas

This study is presented in alignment with the evolving theoretical-practical relationship of pedagogy as a science within the specific context of Language and Literature instruction. The research aims to analyze the application of active methodologies among high school students across various educational institutions in the city of Riobamba. The frequency of these methodologies' use in the classroom was assessed via surveys, while their actual effectiveness was evaluated through indirect observation by the researcher. The selected group does not constitute a probability sample; instead, the study focuses on the perceptions of students from diverse schools and centers its analysis on teaching practice to discuss and compare the results. Findings indicate a lack of teacher training in this area stemming from uncertainty regarding how to approach the subject using these methodologies highlighting the need to strengthen this area of study to ensure proper contextualization and the updating of teaching practices.
