Evaluasi Pendidikan Karakter dan Moderasi Beragama di Sekolah: Tinjauan Teoretis dan Implementatif

This study examines, both theoretically and in practice, the evaluation of character education and religious moderation in schools within the context of current national education policy, particularly the Merdeka Curriculum and the Religious Moderation Roadmap of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review, this study analyzes evaluation instruments, methods, and indicators for measuring learners' internalization of religious moderation values. The findings show that evaluating character education based on religious moderation must integrate cognitive, affective, and psychomotor dimensions, covering national commitment, tolerance, anti-violence, and an accommodative attitude toward local culture. Effective evaluation techniques include authentic assessment, behavioral observation, portfolios, self-assessment, and reflective journals. This article concludes that integrating the evaluation of character and religious moderation does not merely measure academic achievement; rather, it serves as a strategic instrument for building a harmonious and inclusive school culture and for realizing a generation of wasathiyah character in the Society 5.0 era.
