High school (SMA) adolescents are in a vulnerable development phase in various external influences, including drug abuse. Factors such as peer influence, social pressure, family problems, Social Media Influence and accessibility to hazardous substances are the main triggers for abuse. In addition, the lack of awareness of the long-term impacts and the lack of preventive interventions from the family and school environment also exacerbate this problem. This study was conducted to determine whether there is a difference in counseling conducted using offline and online in increasing knowledge and attitudes in preventing drug abuse. This research is a quantitative research, with a quasi-experimental design using a pretest-posttest with a control group. The sample of this study was students at SMK Kencana I Jakarta, divided into two groups: 71 students for online counseling and 71 students for offline counseling. Data analysis techniques were carried out using univariate analysis, dependent t-test, and independent t-test. The study found an increase in knowledge scores after conducting offline counseling, from 17.18 to 19.56, as well as an increase in attitude scores from 61.04 to 75.93. Similarly, online counseling also showed an improvement in knowledge scores from 16.87 to 19.37 and in attitude scores from 59.04 to 72.27The conclusion of this study is that offline counseling is more effective in shaping anti-drug attitudes compared to online counseling, with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.033. However, there was no significant difference between the offline and online methods in improving knowledge, as indicated by a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.587
