Boundary Value Problems for Ordinary Differential Equations Using MATLAB

This study deals with establishing existence of solution to a boundary value problem of second order ordinary differential equation with constant delay of the type also Numerical solution is found for the boundary value problem using MATLAB, and we give a survey of the solutions of second-order ordinary differential equation. The study followed applied analytical approach. The study reached the most important results, the numerical results that are obtained using MATLAB converges to the exact solutions strictly, the amount of computation time required may become excessive, and good accuracy may be difficult to achieve, MATLAB automatically adjusts and increases mesh density in regions where second – order solutions experience rapid variations, sharp curvatures, or steep boundary layers. We recommend that researchers conduct further research on solutions to these Boundary value problems for ordinary differential equations using MATLAB and other software to solve and plot them.
