Position Statement on Version Update of Atomic‑Nucleus Topology Construction Theory (ATCT) and Three‑Rules for Weak Decay (WFD): Transition from Quark‑Based Postulate to the Charge‑Cluster Hypothesis (CCTH)
This document serves as a position statement clarifying version changes for two earlier theoretical models: the Atomic‑Nucleus Topology Construction Theory (ATCT) and the Three‑Rules for Weak Decay (WFD). Earlier versions adopted quarks as fundamental physical building‑blocks of nucleons. Following the preliminary work on Coulomb‑magnetic‑dipole coupling dynamics, the Charge‑Cluster Hypothesis (CCTH) is established as the unified underlying framework. The high‑level topological descriptions of ATCT including cluster structures and nuclear‑bond concepts are retained, while the underlying ontological postulate is changed from quarks to charge‑clusters. The original first rule of WFD, built upon quark flavour‑transformation mechanisms, is discarded because its foundational premise no longer holds. Rules 2 and 3 survive as phenomenological structural criteria derived from nuclear topology; their dynamical origins will be reinterpreted within the CCTH electromagnetic‑coupling framework. This statement provides version‑traceable reference for subsequent papers in the CCTH series.
