Mejorar la competencia comunicativa desde el translenguaje y la IAG. Un laboratorio de observación lingüística para la educación plurilingüe

This article examines the integration of translanguaging pedagogy supported by Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) as a strategy to improve communicative competence in educational settings. Based on the selection of AI tools, it proposes the creation of a linguistic observatory aimed at identifying students’ needs and promoting interventions that foster multilingual expression and interculturality in interaction‑oriented educational practices. The study includes a literature review, as well as a discussion of its limitations and future lines of research, focusing on translanguaging as a driver of equity and inclusion through the informed use of technology within a pedagogical approach that encourages student participation and collaboration in school and society. Consequently, the classroom is conceived as a pedagogical laboratory for observation and linguistic mediation, where translanguaging—supported by appropriately designed content and objectives—can facilitate the effective inclusion of multilingual students.
