Vedanta 2.0: Many Paths, One Ultimate Center, HINDI-

Description / Abstract (English) Human civilizations have developed diverse religions, philosophical traditions, and systems of knowledge to understand existence, consciousness, life, truth, and liberation. Concepts such as Brahman in Advaita Vedanta, Nirvana in Buddhist traditions, emptiness (Śūnyatā) in Madhyamaka, Kevala Jñāna in Jain philosophy, and Tao in Taoist thought emerge within distinct philosophical contexts. This paper presents a philosophical proposal: despite differences in terminology, definitions, and paths, meaningful points of convergence and the possibility of a shared ultimate center may be explored. It examines Advaita, Neti-Neti, Zero (0), and witness-awareness (Dṛṣṭā-Bodha) as possible symbols of freedom from conceptual fixation and rigid identification. The study is a conceptual and comparative philosophical inquiry rather than a comprehensive historical analysis, systematic commentary on primary texts, or empirical scientific investigation. It recognizes that the traditions discussed differ significantly in their metaphysical commitments, philosophical questions, and understandings of liberation and ultimate reality. The paper also considers renunciation as conscious living, the relationship between religion, philosophy, and science, contextual ethical discernment, and the limitations of metaphors used to express philosophical unity. The analogy of many beads forming one garland illustrates a possible relationship among traditions, while acknowledging that an analogy is not proof of doctrinal equivalence. The central question remains open: Do these traditions point toward one ultimate center, or do they share only certain experiential or structural similarities? Vedanta 2.0 proposes this shared center as an interpretive philosophical hypothesis, not an established universal conclusion. It invites further comparative study, critical examination, and intellectual openness. 7. 8.
