Cosmodynamics of Mirny: notes. Note No. 9. Lambda as residual magnetization: a letter that is ak. Sakharov did not finish writing
In Note 5, we showed that the Sakharov metric elasticity arises as a linear approximation of a medium with memory and a threshold. Building on this, we suggest that the cosmological constant in the Friedmann equations is not a constant or "dark energy" in fluid form, but rather the remnant response of a hysteretic vacuum—an echo from the last switch. We interpret Lambda as a residual part of the Preisach loop for zero field. In the Friedmann model, a constant Lambda signifies the absence of memory. Two predictions follow: (i) a drift in the ratio of dark energy to dark matter density, reflecting the "beat" of the remnant response, and (ii) history dependence—states with the same phase but different pasts must exhibit different effective Lambda values. Falsifiability is a key aspect of this proposal.
