Pediatric retinal disorders consist of a plethora of pathophysiologies that directly impact the retinal structure and function, thereby compromising children’s vision and quality of life. These disorders can affect children’s vision in a wide range of diseases, from minor visual acuity deficits to total vision loss. This review aims to highlight the characteristics and management of pediatric retinal disorders for practicing pediatricians and other primary care clinicians.
