The scientific work addresses the fundamental problems of geometrical optics and electromagnetic theory. The study introduces a novel mathematical model and derives an exact equation for a parabolic focusing mirror surface that guarantees wave front phase preservation. Furthermore, a corrected thin-lens formula defined via the front and rear focal points is proposed, alongside the development of a conceptual framework for optical instruments featuring a variable-angle eyepiece orientation. In addition, a theoretical light-attenuation coefficient for homogeneous suspensions is mathematically derived and physically substantiated, eliminating the need for empirical calibration. Finally, the work provides a critical evaluation of the contemporary electromagnetic wave model, demonstrating a quarter-phase shift between the magnetic induction and electric field intensity vectors, which resolves existing contradictions with the law of conservation of energy.
