Empowering Rural Women through Digital Entrepreneurship and Product Branding Training
Rural women operating microenterprises often face challenges in accessing broader markets, developing recognizable product identities, and utilizing digital technologies for business promotion. This study examines an integrated digital entrepreneurship and product branding training framework designed to strengthen rural women's entrepreneurial capabilities and support their participation in digital markets. The training approach combines entrepreneurial planning, product branding, digital promotional content creation, and customer communication through demonstrations, guided practice, and feedback. A community-based research design incorporating qualitative inquiry and quantitative assessment is proposed to examine participants' initial needs, learning experiences, knowledge development, and practical outputs. Data collection methods include pre-training and post-training questionnaires, observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation of branding and promotional materials. Quantitative data are analyzed descriptively, while qualitative data are examined thematically to identify learning experiences, practical challenges, and perceived applicability. The framework emphasizes accessible digital tools, affordable branding strategies, and the application of acquired skills to participants' existing businesses. It also recognizes that improvements in knowledge and promotional materials do not necessarily translate directly into increased sales or income. The study highlights the importance of practical training, continued mentoring, and follow-up evaluation in supporting sustainable entrepreneurial development among rural women.
