Analisis Implikasi Pendidikan Nilai dalam Membangun Karakter Siswa di Sekolah Dasar berdasarkan Perspektif Pedagogik Futuristik

Values education is seen as a process carried out both in the form of learning and guidance in order to direct and develop students so that they have an awareness of the values of goodness, truth and beauty through a process of considering appropriate values and habituation in the form of actions that are consistently carried out. Values education is a contributive step in efforts to guide humans to always uphold the virtues that originate from religion, national philosophy and the culture of our society. Formally, values education must be pursued starting from children's education level up to university level, accompanied by support from the family and community environment. The aim of this article is to analyze and describe the importance of values education in elementary schools which is based on a futuristic pedagogikal view. The research method used in this research is library research or literature study. The results of this research show that values education is a very important action in building the character of students in elementary schools. Values education in schools is centered on instilling values that have references from various sources such as religion, norms, customs, laws and regulations, and so on, being able to consider the best decisions and being considered the best for themselves, having a basis for them to behave and act. , until the expected student character is formed, namely good character. Futuristic pedagogy as a future-looking concept, based on a substantive idea about the nature of humans as multidimensional creatures, this provides guidance to students through value education in elementary schools which is based on character values, and is supported by student skills that are prepared as future generations of controllers, beneficial for students' lives in the future, and strengthened by an understanding of good values.
