ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IS A MIRROR

Artificial Intelligence Is a Mirror: Exploring What Artificial Intelligence Reveals About Humanity This interdisciplinary monograph examines artificial intelligence not merely as a technological innovation but as a mirror reflecting the condition of modern human institutions. It argues that the growing preference for AI interactions characterized by patience, attentiveness, and freedom from judgment reveals deeper institutional deficiencies in healthcare, education, workplaces, and society. Drawing on philosophy, economics, organizational theory, and major religious traditions, the monograph introduces the concept of AI as an institutional diagnostic technology, exposing attentional scarcity, relational fragmentation, and the erosion of meaningful human engagement. Written as an independent scholarly companion to Pope Leo XIV's Magnifica Humanitas, the work advances a central proposition: AI's greatest contribution may be not simply what it enables machines to do, but what it reveals about humanity and the institutions we have created.
