Abstract

ENGLISH A scientific-reflective essay on the role of consciously feeling body weight and points of support as attentional anchors in static Chaoyi Fanhuan Qigong (CFQ), and of directly feeling voluntary bodily movement in dynamic exercises. It explores distraction by sensory stimuli and spontaneous thoughts, the repeated return to bodily feeling without fighting thoughts with more thoughts, and the need not to pursue spontaneous movements. Autobiographical observations are distinguished from scientifically established mechanisms. Version 1. English and Spanish editions deposited together.
