Intervenciones de Enfermería en pacientes con sepsis de foco urinario en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos: revisión por alcance.

Currently, sepsis has become a problem within intensive care units due to the physiological impact and hemodynamic alterations that compromise the clinical stability of critically ill patients. The objective of this study is to analyze nursing interventions in patients with sepsis of urinary origin in the Intensive Care Unit, taking into account the documentary and qualitative nature of the research and based on a scoping review. The methodology is focused on the PRISMA 2020 protocol guidelines. Inclusion criteria were established for the sample, considering original studies in Spanish or English published between 2020 and 2025, which were freely accessible; reviews Systematics, original articles and scientific articles within indexed scientific journals. Exclusion criteria focus on duplicate documents, irrelevant, incomplete abstracts without updated bibliographic support, paid articles and studies focused on pediatric and neonatal patients. The search and analysis of the supporting literature identified 30 articles registered in different scientific databases, taking into consideration 15 studies that met the inclusion criteria related to the topic.
