ANALISIS EFISIENSI WAKTU BETON SPEEDCRETE DIBANDINGKAN BETON KONVENSIONAL PADA JALUR BUSWAY

Construction and maintenance of urban busway lanes demand rapid execution methods to minimize traffic disruptions. This research presents a comparative analysis between SpeedCrete concrete and conventional concrete (FS 45 / 4 MPa) on busway infrastructure in East Jakarta. SpeedCrete incorporates chemical admixtures (PCE superplasticizer and accelerator) along with silica fume, microfiber, and macrofiber to accelerate cement hydration. Experimental laboratory tests were conducted following SNI and ASTM standards, evaluating workability (slump and slump flow), compressive strength, flexural/tensile strength, and economic time efficiency. Results demonstrate that SpeedCrete achieved a compressive strength of 25.64 MPa at 8 hours, 32.21 MPa at 12 hours, and reached its design strength of 40.32 MPa within 24 hours. Conversely, conventional concrete required 28 days to attain 36.90 MPa. Flexural strength of SpeedCrete reached 4.31 MPa at 24 hours compared to 4.12 MPa at 28 days for conventional concrete. Despite a higher initial material cost (Rp 2,000,000/m³ vs. Rp 1,500,000/m³), SpeedCrete allows road opening within 24 hours, drastically reducing indirect traffic congestion costs, making it a highly effective solution for urgent urban pavement projects.
