Reabilitação estética e funcional com prótese imediata após extrações de dentes anteriores: relato de caso clínico

Immediate denture placement following the extraction of natural teeth provides the patient with aesthetic and functional benefits, contributing to the maintenance of the vertical dimension of occlusion, restoration of masticatory function, and prevention of potential temporomandibular joint disorders. In addition, it facilitates the patient’s social reintegration by minimizing the impacts resulting from tooth loss. In this context, this study aimed to report a clinical case of oral rehabilitation through the fabrication of an immediate removable partial denture, inserted on the same day as multiple dental extractions in the aesthetic region. This approach helped prevent the social and psychological consequences associated with tooth loss, providing satisfactory results, with improvements in function, aesthetics, and the patient’s well-being.
