Anti-KS Squad Counseling Module to Improve Junior High School Students' Sexual Violence Prevention Literacy
Sexual violence among adolescents calls for preventive education in schools. This community service program implemented the Anti-KS Squad Guidance and Counseling Module to improve junior high school students' literacy in sexual violence prevention and their awareness of gender equality. The program involved 35 students at SMPN 1 Sumbersuko, Lumajang, in five stages (needs identification, pre-test, interactive module delivery with discussion, case studies, role-playing, and assertive communication exercises, post-test with reflection, and evaluation) using a one-group pre-test/post-test design. The mean overall literacy score rose modestly from 78 to 80, and four indicators each increased by 1.0 point. Given the absence of a comparison group and the high baseline, these gains should be interpreted cautiously. The module appears to be a feasible, interactive preventive resource for school counseling services.
