ANALISIS KONDISI JALAN MENUJU WISATA PANTAI DARI BATAS GUNUNGKIDUL HINGGA TPR BARON

Access to the coastal tourism area in Gunungkidul utilizes road sections from the city boundary via TPR Baron and TPR JJLS. Increasing tourism activities contribute to structural and functional road damage. Structural damage includes cracks, potholes, and surface deformation, while functional damage affects road performance, such as insufficient capacity and high traffic density. The total length of the analyzed road sections is 85 km, consisting of 42 km via TPR Baron and 43 km via TPR JJLS. This study aims to analyze road conditions along the access routes from the Gunungkidul city boundary to TPR Baron and TPR JJLS. The research methods consisted of field surveys and satellite imagery analysis. Primary data were obtained through field surveys. The research stages included field surveys, satellite imagery analysis, identification of road damage types, and conclusion drawing. Satellite imagery analysis produced two-dimensional maps showing road access and damage types along the routes. The results indicated that 37 km or approximately 87% of the analyzed road sections experienced minor damage, while 0.38 km or approximately 1% experienced severe damage. These findings provide information for visitors regarding road conditions and accessibility to the coastal tourism area in Gunungkidul.
