02_Essay_II: Why I Kept Retreating to Before Mathematics Began
This is the second essay in the GHT–RH research trilogy. It begins with a real academic exchange and the experience of having an RH argument reviewed, then follows backward a question concerning the critical half-scale 1/2: from the zeros to the completed function and zeta, from zeta to Prime and multiplication, and from multiplication to re-entry, traces, and the generation of objects, until it reaches a point at which mathematical objects have not yet formed. The essay thereby explains the motivation behind GHT and "two-way mathematics": mathematics should not only be able to prove forward, but should also be able to audit backward when, and through what acts of partitioning, an object, a proof obligation, or even a mathematical problem itself came into being.
