Omega 2: Exploratory Local Prototypes for Shared-Reserve Requests, Evidence Records, and KIL Holds
By Mark Bruce, author of The Quantum Codex This working paper documents exploratory local prototypes for simulated shared-reserve requests, evidence records, and KIL holds in the Omega 2 research program. A local review of development version 4 found that directly altering a saved eligibility field allowed a held request to be allocated when a steward-authorization input was supplied. The finding demonstrates a record-trust weakness under that test condition; it does not establish that a simulated entity had access to the database. A separate synthetic example explores a protected-reserve threshold using abstract units and simulated approval inputs. The examples are separate development artifacts; the threshold example does not repair the altered-record weakness. The accompanying ZIP preserves the prototype code, tests, development archives, and a script for reproducing the altered-record finding. This work has not been independently replicated or peer reviewed. No live model evaluation or external resource access occurred, and the prototypes do not constitute a safety certification.
