Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Kejadian Stunting pada Anak Usia 2-5 Tahun di Desa Cibitung Kabupaten Subang Tahun 2024

Subang Regency ranked 23rd highest in stunting prevalence among districts in West Java Province in 2022. In 2024, the prevalence of stunting in Subang increased to 18.7%, a 3% rise from 15.7% in 2022 (SSGI 2023). This study aims to analyze the factors associated with stunting in children aged 2–5 years, conducted in Cibitung Village, Subang Regency, in 2024. The research is a quantitative study using a case-control design. The sample consisted of 33 mothers with stunted children (case group) and 33 mothers with non-stunted children (control group), randomly selected from 190 mothers across six neighborhood units (RW) in Cibitung Village. Data were analyzed using univariate, bivariate (Chi-Square), and multivariate (logistic regression) methods. Results showed that most respondents had good knowledge (72.7%), provided exclusive breastfeeding (56.1%), appropriate complementary feeding (MP-ASI) (72.7%), access to proper clean water (65.2%), income at or above the regional minimum wage (50%), and complete immunization (54.5%). However, 53% of mothers had less supportive attitudes toward parenting and stunting prevention. Bivariate analysis revealed significant associations between maternal knowledge, attitudes, practices, exclusive breastfeeding, MP-ASI, clean water access, and immunization with stunting incidence (P < 0.05). Maternal attitude was found to be the most dominant factor (OR = 15.203), even when controlled for clean water access, household income, and immunization status. It is recommended that stunting prevention in Cibitung Village be carried out holistically through innovative health education, increased awareness of immunization, integrated interventions (covering education, health services, economic empowerment, and infrastructure), and strengthening community capacity and local potential
